the subtleties of climate change
the same 'noise' that can push climate into a new stable state (stochastic resonance) can be used to people balance

turns out the birds and the bees ARE important for reproduction - and climate change is messing with that

the difficulties of predicting local variance from global climate change

and in a geopolitical sense - what happens when guerillas realise that they don't have to an absolute victory, and instead focus on cascading system failures

and just coz it's funny: I awoke, the way you awake at 2:00 AM when your sleeping senses suddenly tell you without reason that the forces of evil on converging on you. oh and (ignore the racist bullshit), damn interesting - firing a gun at a Japanese sword [short video]

hmm.. and of course, it does make you wonder what would happen if "The First World Power" (not my caps) took on a countyr who was really determined.. the Americans are, for example, perfectly capable of knocking out gigantic chunks of their own power grid by themselves.. if they had help too???

yikes. That's all I can. I hope, for their sake, they just don't go near that viper's nest.
