Well guys, it's been a fun project.
However, it's time to move on to new pastures.
Why? Time requirements. Putting it together takes a LOT of time & effort, and it's time to put that attention elsewhere.

Yes, I will still have an lj account, and continue reading of and commenting on your respective blogs.

all the content will remain, just at notabouthim.livejournal.com

I'll leave you with this:

Damn! Ive been having a look at the various articles here for the past two months! Bad side: no more interesting articles to see in the future, good side, I still have a previous two years worth, or 500 other entries to look through! :O

Hmm...Interesting concept, but as much as I love napping (and I really do) I don't think I could do it. I think the closest I ever got to anything like that was when my last ex got fired and I was working two jobs. I'd work from Friday morning through to Monday afternoon stopping to go home, eat and shower. Then on Monday I'd come home and sleep until Tuesday night ready for work on Wednesday. I did that for about a month and then decided that it was silly and threw a tantrum. I don't plan on doind that ever again ever. (I likes me some sleep, I does...)

I also like sleeping.

What interests me is the deeper aspects. When life is tough, I want to sleep more. When everything is exciting, no matter how tiring it should be, I feel like I need less sleep.

What's with that?

Do we only get worn out when we're doing things we don't enjoy? Is it only stress that tires us?

It's an interesting, and yet, vastly understudied area - particularly considering most of us spend roughly a third of our lives doing it (and no other activity on earth can qualify for that particular distinction)

When life is tough I sleep less but want it more. When I'm having fun I tend to sleep more and have better quality because I'm actually able to unwind enough to sleep...
I'm fairly sure that stress does things to people's sleep patterns, but I think it varies from person to person. My little flatmate Sheryn will spend nights awake just because she can't sleep. She'll also spend days awake and grumpy, but her body clock is fvcked.
There is a place of sleep studying in the States that I would like to check out one day...
