China nixes any cartoons with animals & people in them (also, no talking animals)

a Japanese TV show about a cat that loves human breast milk (they take him all over the country to suckle. what a great job)


here's one for all you vegetarians out there - is it ok to eat plants that eat animals? (this is a carnivorous plant kit, with 12 different carnivorous plants in it)

scientists speak out against animal rights

guy gets anthrax after inhaling spores from raw animal hides used on drums


that's chicken teeth. No, really, mutant dna, blah blah (and no, not so rare, all you old wives)

You tend to leave descriptions of links, not comments.

And usually only one line long.

I suppose thats the standard LiveJournal thing - to only say one line of response.

well, there's also the issue that people tend to read only a few of the links each day, but, it depends what interests them, so which few is different for everyone.

So, it's better to have a few more links than a few less.

And, if I wrote a paragraph of text for each link, a) it'd take forever to read the damn thing each day (and the point is, people are gonna be more interested in the content than in what I have to say - notabouthim, right?), and b) all that text would start to blur together pretty damn quickly.

well, the easiest way is to, say, get an account at flickr, or one of the places listed at image shack (which has a bunch of free photo sharing sites listed)

Get an account.

Upload a picture to there (they'll have instructions how to do it)

Then you can either post a link to the page that has the picture, or use a <img src="url in here"> to link it directly onto your blog.

A bit tricky the first time, but take it slow, it's not particularly complicated (hardest thing is getting an account setup.. which typically is "fill in this form, hit go").
